The Paralympic Dream / International Paralympic Committee

There’s a misconception that the Paralympic Games are just some happy chappy ‘PC hugfest’ of togetherness.
But in reality, competition is brutal. This is the Paris 2024 Paralympics and they’re not playing games.
Global campaign launched in 185 countries, featuring the song “We All Stand Together” by Sir Paul McCartney.

The Game-changing Announcement / Social Media Activation

Paralympians have often been described by the media as “participants,” while Olympians are called “competitors.”
To spark a conversation about how Paralympians are perceived, Jessica Long (30x Paralympic Champion), Bebe Vio
and over 50 other elite Paralympians worldwide posted an official announcement :
They will not be participating in Paris 2024.

Developing our fantastical warm and fluffy Paris

With the next Paralympic Games set to take place in Paris, the concept of this fantastical non-competitive world
drew inspiration from classic French oil paintings, while the characters were inspired by 2D French animation artists.

We also incorporated key elements from the Parisian streets such as lamp posts, churches,
and classic architecture, along with the iconic Eiffel Tower gleaming in the backdrop.

Art Direction / Design

To showcase Paralympic athletes as they truly are — world-class competitors —
we drew inspiration from top sports brands' aesthetics.

The Music

When they say never write a script with a famous song in mind,
what they really mean is never write anything with a Paul McCartney song in it.

So, we took a chance and wrote a pitch to Sir McCartney himself.
And guess what… he read it and approved the song!
